Mi favorito lugar

     Mi deporte favorito es el sofból. Yo a estado jugando desde que tenía 5 años para my ciudad. Mi posición favorita es el campocorto porque estoy acostumbrado a jugar esa posición y yo juego esa posición mejor que cualquier otra posición. He jugado todas las posiciones antes, excepto por el lanzador, porque yo no soy un lanzadora y nunca he practicado lanzando. Me gusta el softbol por lo competitivo que es, porque siempre quieres ser el equipo ganador por eso tienes que tratar lo mejor e incluso ir más allá y probar cosas nuevas. También tienes que mantener la cabeza alta y tiener un buen espíritu deportivo, aunque el juego no va cómo te gustaría que fuera. Hace dos años me golpearon con el softbol en la nariz y se me rompío. Despues se me sanó y yo probablemente habría dejó de jugar, si no fuera por la familia de softbol que me animó a seguir jugando. Lo peor de softbol es que es peligroso, puede ser desde un rasguño hasta huesos rotos, pero nada me va impedir jugar el juego que más me gusta, softbol.

Spanish Portfolio

   My favorite part of Spanish was learning new things about my culture that I hadn't already known about. I really enjoyed the Dia de los Muertos part, although I knew about it I got to learn some of the traditions Hispanics do on the day of the dead. Also, another thing I liked about Spanish was that I got to be surrounded by other people my age that have a similar background to me and that I got to work with and learn something I didn't know about them. I think in this first semester for Spanish Speakers Honors we all got to know each other a lot better and became some what of a family.  
    The most challenging thing for me in Spanish this semester has been learning the accents that go with some words. I've had a hard time since this is the first spanish class I have ever took and don't understand the rules of accents. I hope that after some studying and practice I catch on quickly with where the accents go. 
    I think I could improve my portfolio by organizing my portfolio by putting my work under the correct tabs and decorating my tabs to make them look better.

     Hola me llamo Alexandra pero unas personas me llaman Alex. Yo nací en California el 1 de Diciembre del 1998. Tengo quince años, y estoy en el noveno grado de la secundaria Mira Costa. Yo me considero Mexiana aunque nací en los Estados Unidos porque mis padres nacieron en México. Yo tengo una famila muy grande que consiste de cuatro hermanas y un hermano. Mi deporte es Sófbol, y desde pequeña lo he practicado. Una cosa que me encanta es escuchar música porque me relaja. Otra cosa es pasar tiempo con mis amigas, porque siempre tenemos un gran tiempo no importa lo que hacemos. Finalmente, me encanta el café de Starbucks especialmente el Vanilla Bean Frappaccino con caramelo o el Caramelo Flan Frappaccino.
